Digital Art

I was stimulated to start working in the digital realm in the early 2000s by David Hockney’s iPad creations using the Brushes app. My iPhone became my first digital palette using the Brushes app with the help of my finger. An iPad quickly became my favorite tool, and the Apple pencil followed not far behind. Soon, the Brushes app was supplanted by the Procreate app, which I am still using today. The iPad goes anywhere, fits in my bag, and is available when my other art supplies are not. I do many spontaneous field sketches this way, some of which I transform into studio art. This digital work selection represents some digital work I have done.
